Our 37th Annual Gala was a great success this year by raising over $260,000. We’ve received some great media coverage because of this in the Michigan Avenue Magazine. The Code Corps initiative is a partnership between our Club, the Corporation for National & Community Service and Google. We will be working with AmeriCorps VISTA volunteers who will help us build capacity to serve more youth with technology programs. We need your help! We are looking for exceptional folks to be our VISTAs. Please share the following listing with as many people as you can.

The Youth of the Year Award is the highest honor a Boys & Girls Clubs member can receive in recognition of their academic performance and service to their Club and their community. Come celebrate our candidates inspiring achievements.

Boys & Girls Club Tours
February 18th, March 25th and April 21st at 4:00 – 6:00pm
Please make plans to join us as we take you on a guided tour and offer you an up-front and personal view of our Boys & Girls Clubs in action. This is a great opportunity for you to learn more about the life changing impacts we deliver to the kids that need us most. Van transportation will be provided to and from the Union League Club. The Union League Boys & Girls Clubs in partnership with the Illinois Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs intend to submit an application for the FY15 21st Century Community Learning Centers Request for Proposals from the Illinois State Board of Education to operate said program at the following schools:

The Chicago Public School District is co-applicants on the applications related to these proposed programming sites.
