Ring Lardner was one of the most brilliant and prolific American journalists of the early 20th century. He spent much of his career writing about sports. The Ring Lardner Awards honor the best sports journalists of today and the recent past. Like Ring, this year’s honorees have used their quick wit, smart insights and exceptional creativity, to bring to life the memorable sports performances and events we love. Please join us in honoring them and their work.
