Special Events ListWe will put you on an e-mail list that announces our special events (at both the Clubs and the Headquarters office such as our annual gala, wine dinner and more!) for which we need volunteers. If the date, time & location of the event work well for you, e-mail us back and join in on the fun! |
Club Happenings ListAn e-mail goes out to individuals who would like to go out to the Clubs and attend the special events/performances at the Club sites. These e-mails may also list opportunities for one-time volunteer projects at the Club ranging from refereeing a game to chaperoning a Club fieldtrip. These e-mails will go out in advance for events we know about and may come with opportunities for the evening the e-mail is sent (e.g. we need an emergency basketball referee sub). If the time, date, and location work for you, just e-mail us that you can join in the fun! |

Who We AreThe membership of the Union League Club of Chicago founded the Union League Boys & Girls Clubs (ULGBC) on December 26, 1919 and became an affiliate member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America on February 23,1920. The ULBGC is independently run by our Board of Trustees, but incorporates national Boys & Girls Clubs programming at all our facilities. At our four Chicago area Clubs and Summer Camp, Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls, by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and influence. Boys and Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow — all while having fun. They are truly The Positive Place For Kids. Our KidsUnion League Boys & Girls Clubs serve 11,174 at-risk youth, mainly low-mid income, from the Humboldt Park, West Town & Pilsen communities. |
